Every year, Digital Trends creates a gift guide of tech products for the holidays. For 2016, we wanted to do something a little different, and focus on the individual rather than the family. It was a humorous take on the holidays, in the same vein as the old National Lampoon's movies.
We had a modest budget, but it was enough to get the Portland Department of Art to build some great sets and rent a large studio. Having consistent lighting really helped with the final production, and everyone involved had a lot of fun. It was also one of the first larger-scale projects where I handled all the photography, as well as the design.
